Toshiba is getting ahead of the competition by unleashing 3 new Android tablets to kick-off its back-to-school offerings. These tablets are the Excite 7.7, Excite 10 and the huge Excite 13. Yes, you read it right, that 13-inches. Can you still consider a device of such size a tablet? Well, Toshiba does. All three tablets run Android 4.0 under their Gorilla glass displays. They are all loaded with quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 5MP rear camera and 2MP from-facing one.
Other features include stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Excite 13 sports a 13.3-inch display with 1600×900 backlit LED. The Excite 10 has a 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 resolution and the Excite 7.7 naturally has a 7.7-inch screen in AMOLED display similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Battery life of these Android tablets are said to last up to 10 hours up until 13 hours for both the Excite 10 and Excite 13. Looks interesting, right? The Toshiba Excite 10 will be available by May for $449.99 (16GB), $529.99 (32GB) and $649.99 (64GB). The Excite 7.7 will be out by June 2012 for $499.99 (16GB) and $579.99 (32GB). Finally, the Excite 13 will also be released in June 2012 for $649.99 (32GB) and $749.99 (64GB).
